On Friday, November 1st, the Hoy No Circula program will be implemented in the State of Mexico and in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City. It is reported that vehicles with blue stickers, license plates ending in 9 and 0, and holograms 1 and 2 must stay home during this day.
Regarding the possibility of a double Hoy No Circula due to an environmental contingency, this will not be the case for this Friday. Air quality remained at a 'good' level on October 31st, and the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis has not declared an environmental contingency in the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico.
The vehicles that may circulate on Friday, November 1st, are electric and hybrid cars, those with ecological license plates or exempt holograms, those with hologram "00" or "0", vehicles used by health sector workers, school and staff transport, as well as cars for persons with disabilities who have the Permit to exempt from Hoy No Circula, among others.
In summary, drivers are expected to comply with the provisions of the Hoy No Circula program to contribute to the reduction of pollutant particles in the atmosphere during this Friday, November 1st.
